Footings
We trench footings for commercial
and domestic locations.
With the small footprint of our backhoe
we can get around a block quickly and easily, all the while
digging the footings to the required width and depth. Don't
forget that we can level the block too before we start trenching!
Trenches
The Dingo trencher is a very
powerful and versatile attachment. Able to dig a trench 150
mm wide and up to 1 metre deep it can cut through hard baked
clay and shale and even lime stone although this does slow
down the digging speed.
The minimum width required for digging is
a nominal 970mm, although it is possible to dig within slightly
narrower widths with a little bit of fiddling. We need a minimum
of 800mm for access, ie, squeezing it down the side of house
is possible and gets done quite often.
We trench anything - starting from the power
pole, along the footpath and into the property or a 1 kilometre
trench from behind the house down to the back paddock with
the whole job finished, filled in and flattened out.
We dig thousands of metres of trenches every
year for new water supplies to support the horticulture industry
in the Virginia – Two Wells area.

Tight Access - our specialty
We seem to do all
of the awful plumbing jobs in Adelaide, the ones where it’s
very hard to get into; where it has to be dug in and under
the new sun room that’s being constructed in your back
yard or when you just don’t want your entire back yard
destroyed while the damaged sewer pipe is repaired.
We have contacts
with good quality reliable tradies if you are looking for
the entire job to be arranged.
