Greenwith: under-house Excavation
Richard excavated under my house to create
a home workshop.
- The space created is roughly seven metres by seven metres
and to a height of two point five metres.
- While the area was clay on top and then shale, most was
hard rock.
- About 200 tonnes was removed.
- The site had limited access and it was a very confined
space.
Richard did an excellent, professional job;
a job most excavator operators and builders did not want to
do as it was just too hard. He was very careful not to damage
the temporary props, posts or the house. He is a very skilled
operator.
I was the owner builder and supervised Richard
very closely over a period of thirteen days in December 2008,
January 2009 and February 2009.
- He was here when he said he would be.
- All of his equipment was in good condition and working
order.
- He was always positive even when things did not go according
to plan.
- He was always pleasant and a joy to be around.
I highly recommend Richard and Adelaide
Dial a Dingo and I would gladly hire him again if the need
arose.
